In the spring of 2020 composer Remy Alexander made a series of tape-loop inspired pieces with just the guitar. Coming from a background of producing 'electronic music', the composer found himself inspired by using effects on a live instrument and processing this in a 'production-like-way', he decided to shift the focus from a solo instrument to an ensemble.

These pieces were written as 'concert compositions' and the parts were recorded in different sessions for each of the individual players. This way of recording made it impossible to get an ensemble sound in the mix; but it opened the opportunity for making 'remixes' with the material of the original compositions. The resulting pieces are bundled in this EP. Given the striking name 're;feel' to refer to the practice of remixing and getting back to ones (musical) roots.
